This month I headed out on a West Coast swing. My trip included visiting several customer stores as well as attending a trade show in Seattle, one of my favorite cities. One customer is a large, 200-unit chain located in California. All of their stores operate under a philosophy of "high-end products for value-oriented stores". Recently, they asked us to add a few custom options to our Eurotable to expand its storage capacity even further. A classic example of modifying standard product by building in new/custom features to meet specific customer requirements. Our ability to embrace and take on this type of demand is one of the things that we feel sets CMS apart from our competition. The "field" photos below offer a glimpse of the final in-store product. Contact us to discuss how we might help you do something similar.
I'm also excited about our new Backlit Wine Wall, the featured product this month. It's a great addition to our constantly expanding line-up of wine display fixtures. Stores that have it in place are excited about it too, as they are already reporting increased sales - which is as fine a compliment as you can get in our business.
Until next month,
Michael Smith
Proprietary design for this unit
Foam padding to accommodate bananas
Rustic look using different hardwood species
Durable to carry heavy loads
Accommodates up to 200 lbs. per shelf
Easy to set / standardized to fit any store
Small stores have a cantilevered shelf to maximize space
Here's a contemporary way to merchandise an age old product. We added LED back lights to give the standard wine wall an artistic look and feel. The effect almost brings the bottles to life. The lights are 110V to 240V and plug into standard electrical outlets. To further enhance the clean look of the more open wall, we added enclosed under-storage cabinets to hide supplies and back stock. The effect so far, as reported by our early-purchase customers, has been an increase in sales of 20+ percent.
