As in "quality", something we constantly strive for at CMS.
Some of you may be aware of the AWI Quality Certification Program sponsored by the Architecture Woodwork Institute. This
program is endorsed by the American Subcontractors Association (ASA) and is a big deal in our industry. This is why we
are excited to announce that we recently earned AWI's certification status.
The purpose of the AWI program is to ensure a high level of quality for custom interior architectural woodwork. This
certification does not come easily and must be earned through comprehensive testing and inspection. We had to demonstrate
our ability to do work that is in accordance with the quality grade criteria that is set forth by the Architectural
Woodwork Standards (AWS) for:
Fabricate / Manufacture
Finish and Install
AWI Quality Certification is integral to the work we do for custom interiors and validates our commitment to quality.
Only the top five percent of shops in the United States today can claim that they have this level of certification.
As you can probably tell, I'm extremely proud of the team here at CMS and this major accomplishment.
